Every year Blue Line Art Gallery holds a fund raising event called Lottery for Arts. The event is designed for art enthusiasts to acquire original works of fine art by professional and emerging artists, all support goes directly to the funding of education and outreach programs at Blue Line Arts. Artist submit an application to be included in the events where the art is auctioned through a lottery process at the gallery event in one evening. It is a very fast paced event where the patrons names are randomly drawn and they have 14 seconds to select an artwork that is available. My piece ‘Waterway’ was accepted to the event and selected during the evening. It was an honor to be included and help to raise funds for this prestigious gallery in Northern California.
